Dear Client,
We wish to inform you of an important upcoming change that will impact the motor claims process, following the implementation of the National Insurance Claims Database (NICD) by the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
As part of this national initiative, first announced in the 2021–2022 Budget Speech, the NICD platform has been introduced to streamline motor insurance claims, improve information sharing among insurers, and create a centralized history of claims. This system is designed to make claims processing faster, more efficient, and more transparent across the industry.
What’s Changing?
To comply with this legal requirement, Eagle Insurance has updated our Motor Claim Form. The revised form now includes additional mandatory fields required by the FSC for claim registration. The information collected will be uploaded to the NICD system to ensure claims are accurately tracked and processed.
This includes:
- Policyholder details
- Driver information (as per the Agreed Statement of Facts)
- Third-party details (if applicable)
- Claim-specific data
These changes are legally mandated under the NICD framework.
Effective Date: As from 22 September 2025 , download our Motor Insurance Claim Form here
